RESOLUTION NO. 2018-448
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST FROM SOUTH
WATERLOO CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN TO HOLD THE
1ST ANNUAL 4K RUN/WALK ON AUGUST 5, 2018,
BEGINNING AT 7:00 A.M., TRAVELING ON KIMBALL
AVNUE, WASHBURN ROAD, AND ANSBOROUGH
AVENUE, AND RETURNING TO THE CHURCH PARKING
LOT LOCATED AT 6227 KIMBALL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren made a written application to the
City Council asking that they be authorized and permitted to hold a the first annual 4K run/walk
on August 5, 2018, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 7:00 a.m., with the route traveling on Kimball
Avenue, Washburn Road, and Ansborough Avenue, and returning to the church parking lot
located at 6227 Kimball Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of South Waterloo Church of the Brethren to hold the first
annual 4K run/walk on August 5, 2018 beginning at 7:00 a.m., with the route traveling on
Kimball Avenue, Washburn Road, and Ansborough Avenue, and returning to the church parking
lot located at 6227 Kimball Avenue, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June 2018.
