RESOLUTION NO. 2018-449
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF THE ACCEL
GROUP TO HOLD THE ANNUAL ACCEL TRIATHLON ON
JULY 14, 2018, AT 8:00 A.M., BEGINNING AND ENDING AT
GEORGE WYTH STATE PARK AND TRAVELING ON
AIRLINE HIGHWAY AND LEVERSEE ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Accel Group made a written application to the City Council asking that
they be authorized and permitted to hold the annual Accel Triathlon on July 14, 2018, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the route beginning and ending at
George Wyth State Park and traveling on Airline Highway and Leversee Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Acel Group to hold the annual Accel Triathlon on July
14, 2018 beginning at 8:00 a.m., with the route beginning and ending at George Wyth State Park
and traveling on Airline Highway and Leversee Road, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June 2018.
