RESOLUTION NO. 2018-411
RESOLUTION APPROVING MAYORS WALK WATERLOO
COMMUNITY WELLNESS CELEBRATION ON FRIDAY,
JUNE 22, 2018, BEGINNING AT 5:00 P.M. AT LINCOLN
PARK, TRAVELING SOUTH ON W. 4TH STREET TO CEDAR
STREET, NORTH ON PARK AVENUE AND RETURNING TO
LINCOLN PARK.
WHEREAS, Mayor Quentin Hart has made a written application to the City Council
asking that he be authorized and permitted to hold the Mayor's Walk Waterloo Community
Wellness Celebration, and
WHEREAS, said event will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at
Lincoln Park, with the route traveling south on W. 4th Street to Cedar Street, north on Park
Avenue and returning to Lincoln Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Mayor Quentin Hart to hold the Mayor's Walk
Waterloo Community Wellness Celebration, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Lincoln Park, with the
walk traveling south on W. 4th Street to Cedar Street, north on Park Avenue and returning to
Lincoln Park, be and the same hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June 2018.
