RESOLUTION NO. 2018-416
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING THE DATE OF BID
OPENING AS JULY 12, 2018, AND PUBLIC HEARING AS
JULY 16, 2018, IN CONJUNCTION WITH JANITORIAL
SERVICES FOR THE FOLLOWING BUILDINGS: CITY HALL,
CARNEGIE ANNEX, WATERLOO POLICE TRAINING
CENTER, MEMORIAL HALL, WASTE MANAGEMENT, AND
THE PARKING RAMP ENCLOSURE ATTACHED TO THE
WATERLOO BUILDING, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc. in
conjunction with janitorial services for the following buildings: City Hall, Carnegie Annex,
Waterloo Police Training Center, Memorial Hall, Waste Management, and the Parking Ramp
Enclosure attached to the Waterloo Building, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the above stated janitorial services,
be scheduled for July 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of July 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the above stated janitorial services.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1 lth day of June 2018.
