CUNNINGHAM CONSTRUCTION CO, INC. FOR A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE ORDINANCE TO ALLOW FOR SAW CUTTING OF NEWLY PLACED CONCRETE ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE FROM GREENHILL ROAD TO EVERGREEN STREET, FOR A 24 HOUR A DAY OPERATION FROM JUNE 25, 2018 TO DECEMBER 31, 2018. WHEREAS, K. Cunningham Construction Company, Inc. is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance to allow for 24 hour saw cutting of newly placed concrete on University Avenue from Greenhill Road to Evergreen Street, for a 24 hour a day operation from June 25, 2018 to December 31, 2018, and and WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, WHEREAS, K. Cunningham Construction Company, Inc. has made formal application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, together with recommendation and approval of the Captain of Police Services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of K. Cunningham Construction Company, Inc. for a variance to the Noise Ordinance to allow for 24 hour saw cutting of newly placed concrete on University Avenue from Greenhill Road to Evergreen Street, for a 24 hour a day operation from June 25, 2018 to December 31, 2018, is hereby granted.
