RESOLUTION NO. 2018-507
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY TSCHIGGFRIE EXCAVATING
CO. OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $119,456.08,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2018 BROCK 2ND
ADDITION SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION, CONTRACT
NO. 932, AND RECEIVE AND FILE THE TWO (2) YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Tschiggfrie Excavating Co. of Dubuque, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2018 Brock 2nd Addition Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 932,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Tschiggfrie Excavating Co. has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of $119,456.08.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Tschiggfrie Excavating Co. in the amount of $119,456.08, in conjunction
with the FY 2018 Brock 2nd Addition Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 932, are hereby
approved, and the two (2) year maintenance bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of July 2018.
