RESOLUTION NO. 2018-509
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AWARD OF GRANT OF NOT TO
EXCEED $37,500 FROM THE NATIONAL PARKS SERVICE FOR
PROJECT COSTS RELATED TO A CIVIL RIGHTS STUDY,
NOMINATION, DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF SIGNAGE, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the National Park Service grant awarded to the Waterloo Historic Preservation Commission,
in an amount not to exceed $37,500, to be used for project costs related to a civil rights study,
nomination, design and installation of signage is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and City Clerk
authorized and directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of July 2018.
