RESOLUTION NO. 2018-514
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS JULY 26, 2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JULY 30, 2018, IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASPHALT EMULSIONS
FOR THE CITY'S RECYCLED ASPHALT PAVING PROGRAM, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt Paving Program are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the Asphalt Emulsions for the City's
Recycled Asphalt Paving Program be scheduled for July 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th day of July 2018, to hold
a public hearing in conjunction with the Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt
Paving Program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
