RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS AUGUST 23, 2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS AUGUST 27, 2018 FOR THE FY 2019 WATERLOO YARD
WASTE WATER AND SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION,
CONTRACT 952, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the FY 2019 Waterloo Yard Waste Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract 952, are
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2019 Waterloo Yard Waste
Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract 952, be scheduled for August 23, 2018 at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 27th day of August 2018, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2019 Waterloo Yard Waste Water and Sanitary
Sewer Extension, Contract 952.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
