RESOLUTION NO. 2018-585
RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY GREAT PLAINS
SURVEY, INC. ON BEHALF OF BRIAN KENNETT AND
MICHAEL DAHL, FOR THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF 3.01
ACRES FOR THE KENN DAHL FIRST ADDITION, TO
ALLOW FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FIVE (5) LOT
RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION, LOCATED AT 4245 WEST
4TH STREET.
WHEREAS, on this 6th day of August 2018, at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, the preliminary plat of 3.01 acres for the Kenn Dahl First Addition,
to allow for the development of a five (5) lot residential subdivision, located at 4245 West 4th
Street, was presented for approval by Great Plains Survey, Inc. on behalf of Brian Kennett and
Michael Dahl, and
WHEREAS, said preliminary plat has been previously submitted to and was approved by
the City of Waterloo City Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission on June 10, 2018,
and
WHEREAS, said Preliminary Plat has been considered and should receive approval of
this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, the preliminary plat submitted by Great Plains Survey, Inc., on behalf of
Brian Kennett and Michael Dahl of 3.01 acres for the Kenn Dahl First Addition, to allow for the
development of a five (5) lot residential subdivision, located at 4245 West 4th Street, in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August 2018.
