RESOLUTION NO. 2018-594
REQUEST FROM KOINONIA MINISTRIES FULL BAPTIST
CHURCH FOR A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE ORDINANCE
ON AUGUST 19, 2018 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M., IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE ANNUAL PICNIC TO BE HELD
AT 2222 FALLS AVE, INCLUDING A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Koinonia Ministries Full Gospel Baptist Church is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on August 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with a
annual picnic, to be held at 2222 Falls Avenue, including use of a PA system, together with the
recommendation and approval of the Police Department, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Koinonia Ministries Full Gospel Baptist Church, for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 19, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a annual picnic, to be held at 2222 Falls Avenue, including use of a PA system,
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August 2018.
