RESOLUTION NO. 2018-555
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 23, 2018, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 27, 2018, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WASTE MANAGEMENT
CLEANING OF ANAEROBIC DIGESTER #3, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the Waste Management Cleaning of Anaerobic Digester#3 project, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the Waste Management Cleaning of
Anaerobic Digester 43 project, be scheduled for August 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 27th day of August
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the Waste Management Cleaning of
Anaerobic Digester#3 project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of July 2018.
