RESOLUTION NO. 2018-566
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MINTURN, INC. OF
BROOKLYN, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF $203,241.80,
FOR THE FY 2018 BRIDGE AND CULVERT
REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 950, AND RECEIVE AND FILE
TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Minturn, Inc. of Brooklyn, Iowa, performed work in conjunction with the
FY 2018 Bridge and Culvert Repairs, Contract No. 950, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Minturn, Inc. has completed the aforementioned project in accordance with
the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$203,241.80.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Minturn, Inc. in the amount of$203,241.80, in conjunction with the FY
2018 Bridge and Culvert Repairs, Contract No. 950, are hereby approved, and the two (2) year
maintenance bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 301h day of July 2018.
