RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO THOMPSON
TRUCK & TRAILER OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2019 SINGLE AXLE SNOW
CONTROL (PLOW), 37,000 GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT DUMP
TRUCKS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,964.00 EACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid, of Thompson Truck & Trailer of Dubuque, Iowa, for the purchase of two (2)
2019 single axle snow control (plow), 37,000 gross vehicle weight dump trucks, in the amount of
$150,964.00 each, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, with Resolution No. 2018-476, after public hearing on June 25, 2018 on published notice
required by law, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of July 2018.
