RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 6, 2018 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 FOR THE FY 2019
SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 8,
CONTRACT NO. 958, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the FY 2019 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program- Zone 8, Contract No. 958, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2019 Sidewalk Repair
Assessment Program - Zone 8, Contract No. 958, be scheduled for September 6, 2018 at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 10th day of September 2018,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2019 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program
- Zone 8, Contract No. 958.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
