RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT ETC., AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 13, 2018 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 17, 2018 FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE (1) 2018 TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPER FOR
WATERLOO FIRE RESCUE, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc. for the purchase of
one (1) 2018 Triple Combination Pumper for Waterloo Fire Rescue, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, for the purchase of one (1) 2018 Triple Combination
Pumper for Waterloo Fire Rescue, be scheduled for September 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of September 2018,
to hold a public hearing, for the purchase of the purchase of one (1) 2018 Triple Combination
Pumper for Waterloo Fire Rescue.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
