RESOLUTION NO. 2018-650
RESOLUTION APPROVING METHAMPHETAMINE DRUG
HOT SPOTS GRANT MONEY AS A SUB-RECIPIENT FROM
THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF DRUG CONTROL POLICY,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,000.00 WITH NO MATCHING
FUNDS REQUIRED, TO PROVIDE OVERTIME FUNDS TO
ASSIST IN MID AND HIGH LEVEL METHAMPHETAMINE
INVESTIGATIONS, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Methamphetamine Drug Hot Spots grant, as a sub-recipient from the Governor's
Office of Drug Control Policy, in the amount of$23,000, with no matching funds required by
the City of Waterloo, to provide overtime funds to assist in mid and high level methamphetamine
investigations, is hereby approved and the Mayor and Chief of Police are authorized and directed
to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of August 2018.
