RESOLUTION NO. 2018-715
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH IOWA DOT
FOR THE INITIATED DETOUR OF PRIMARY HIGHWAYS
ONTO LOCAL ROADS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF HIGHWAY 20 FROM IA 21 TO THE
CEDAR RIVER BRIDGE IN 2019, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the Agreement dated September 24, 2018 between the Iowa DOT and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, for the initiated detour of primary highways onto local roads, in conjunction with the
reconstruction of Highway 20 from IA 21 to the Cedar River Bridge in 2019, is hereby approved
and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of September 2018.
