RESOLUTION NO. 2018-696
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO RELIANT FIRE
APPARATUS, INC., OF SLINGER, WI, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$514,666, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF
ONE (1) TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPER, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Reliant Fire Apparatus, Inc., of Slinger, Wisconsin, submitted bids for the
purchase of one (1) Triple Combination Pumper in the amount of$514,666, and
WHEREAS, Reliant Fire Apparatus, Inc. submitted a written contract, bond and
certificate of insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project
with Resolution No. 2018-694, after public hearing on September 17, 2018, in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) Triple Combination Pumper.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Reliant Fire Apparatus, Inc. in the amount of $514,666 for the
purchase of one (1) Triple Combination Pumper, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Reliant Fire
Apparatus, Inc. are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of September 2018.
