RESOLUTION NO. 2018-682
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE NEXT PHASE OF
CONSTRUCTION ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE FROM
GREENHILL ROAD TO MIDWAY DRIVE, AND
AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO BEGIN CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS TO ALLOW FOR ACQUISITION OF
TEMPORARY EASEMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
THE BIKE TRAIL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the next phase of construction on University Avenue shall occur between Greenhill Road to
Midway Drive, and City Staff are hereby authorized to begin condemnation proceedings to allow
for acquisition of temporary easements for the construction of the bike trail.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of September 2018.
