RESOLUTION NO. 2018-662
RESOLUTION AWARDING THE FY 2019 WATERLOO YARD
WASTE WATER AND SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION,
CONTRACT 952, TO LODGE CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF
CLARKSVILLE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $242,253, AND
APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BOND AND CERTIFICATE
OF INSURANCE, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc. of Clarksville, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount
of$242,253, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the FY 2019 Waterloo Yard
Waste Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract 952.
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc. submitted a written contract, bond and certificate
of insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2018-645, after public hearing on August 27, 2018, in conjunction with the FY
2019 Waterloo Yard Waste Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract 952.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Lodge Construction, Inc. in the amount of $242,253, in
conjunction with the FY 2019 Waterloo Yard Waste Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension,
Contract 952, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Lodge
Construction, Inc., in conjunction with the FY 2019 Waterloo Yard Waste Water and Sanitary
Sewer Extension, Contract 952, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
