RESOLUTION NO. 2018-667
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID FOR
JANITORIAL SERVICES TO MIDWEST JANITORIAL
SERVICE, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,154.00/MONTH,
FOR THE FOLLOWING BUILDINGS: CITY HALL,
CARNEGIE ANNEX, WATERLOO POLICE TRAINING
CENTER, MEMORIAL HALL, WASTE MANAGEMENT, AND
THE PARKING RAMP ENCLOSURE ATTACHED TO THE
WATERLOO BUILDING.
WHEREAS, Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of
$7,154.00/month and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with Janitorial Services for the
following buildings: City Hall, Carnegie Annex, Waterloo Police Training Center, Memorial
Hall, Waste Management, and the Parking Ramp Enclosure attached to the Waterloo Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc., in the amount of
$7,154.00/month, in conjunction with Janitorial Services for the following buildings: City Hall,
Carnegie Annex, Waterloo Police Training Center, Memorial Hall, Waste Management, and the
Parking Ramp Enclosure attached to the Waterloo Building, is hereby awarded.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September 2018.
