RESOLUTION NO. 2018-671
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED FROM BLACK HAWK
COUNTY FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE
CORNER OF WALNUT STREET AND 6TH STREET IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1.00, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO SIGN AND FULLY EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo will accept a deed from Black Hawk County for
property generally located at the corner of Walnut Street and 6th Street in the amount of$1.00,
plus up to $200 in closing costs, and
WHEREAS, the property was formerly identified as 724 Walnut Street, and legally
described as follows:
COOLEY ADDITION WATERLOO, THE SOUTHEAST EIGHTY-EIGHT (88) FEET
OF LOT ONE (1) IN BLOCK FIFTY-NINE (59), SITUATED IN THE COUNTY OF,
BLACK HAWK, STATE OF IOWA.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the deed from Black Hawk County for property generally described
as 724 Walnut Street in exchange for $1.00, plus up to $200 in closing is hereby accepted, and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute any necessary documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September 2018.
