This is a summary of amendments to
Ordinance No. 5079, as amended, the
City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance
(referred to below as the "Ordinance"),
which is set forth in Title 10 of the
Waterloo Code of Ordinances. .
For grocery stores located in a "C-1"
Neighborhood Commercial District, loca-
ted in an alcohol sales use overlay
district,or classified as a limited alcohol
sales use,the amendments increase the
minimum retail floorspace that a grocery
store must meet to qualify for exceptions
from use and signage requirements,from
10,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet.
The amendments also enlarged the area
of the Church Row Neighborhood Overlay
District, to include within such alcohol
sales use overlay district the additional )
area described as follows: Beginning at
the intersection of the centerlines of w
Williston Avenue and"Kimball Avenue;
