RESOLUTION NO. 2018-707
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. FOR A RECYCLING
PROCESSING FACILITY TO SUPPORT THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S
CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM, AND SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS OCTOBER 11, 2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS OCTOBER 15, 2018, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the recycling processing facility to support the City of Waterloo's curbside
recycling program, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to
support the City of Waterloo's curbside recycling program, be scheduled October 11, 2018 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of October 2018, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to support the City of
Waterloo's curbside recycling program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of September 2018.
