RESOLUTION NO. 2018-708
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. FOR THE RENTAL OF
FOUR (4) MOTOR GRADERS TO SUPPORT SNOW OPERATIONS,
AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 11, 2018
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 15, 2018, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the rental of four (4) motor graders to support snow operations, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the rental of four (4) motor graders
to support snow operations, be scheduled October 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of October 2018, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the rental of four (4) motor graders to support snow
operations.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
