RESOLUTION NO. 2018-709
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2019 1 TON PICKUP TRUCK
WITH SNOW PLOW FOR THE TRAFFIC OPERATIONS
DEPARTMENT, AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS
OCTOBER 11, 2018 AND PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 15, 2018,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2019 1 ton pickup truck with snow plow for the Traffic
Operations Department, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with purchase of one (1) 2019 1 ton
pickup truck with snow plow for the Traffic Operations Department, be scheduled October 11,
2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of October 2018, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2019 1 ton pickup truck with
snow plow for the Traffic Operations Department.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of September 2018.
