RESOLUTION NO. 2018-748
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
B&B BUILDERS & SUPPLY OF WATERLOO, IA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $206,215.82, AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
FOR THE FY 2019 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT
PROGRAM - ZONE 8, CONTRACT NO. 958, AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B & B Builders & Supply of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount
of$206,215.82 and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the FY 2019 Sidewalk Repair
Assessment Program - Zone 8, Contract No. 958.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of B & B Builders & Supply of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount
of $206,215.82, is hereby awarded, and the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance in
conjunction with FY 2019 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program - Zone 8, Contract No. 958,
described in the specifications heretofore adopted by Resolution No. 2018-746, after public
hearing on October 8, 2018, on published notice required by law, are hereby approved and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of October 2018.
