RESOLUTION NO. 2018-762
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 1, 2018,
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 5, 2018,
FOR THE 2018 TREE REMOVAL PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the 2018 Tree Removal Project, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the 2018 Tree Removal Project, be
scheduled for November 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of November 2018, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the 2018 Tree Removal Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of October 2018.
