RESOLUTION NO. 2018-771
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
BILL COWELL FORD OF HUDSON, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $119,149, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2019 SERVICE
TRUCK FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Bill Cowell Ford of Hudson, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$119,149, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the purchase a 2019 Service Truck
for the Street Department, and
WHEREAS, Bill Cowell Ford submitted a written contract, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2018-769, after public
hearing on October 15, 2018, in conjunction with the purchase of a 2019 Service Truck for the
Street Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Bill Cowell Ford in the amount of$119,149, in conjunction with
the purchase of a 2019 Service Truck for the Street Department, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract submitted by Bill Cowell Ford, in conjunction with the purchase
of a 2019 Service Truck for the Street Department, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of October 2018.
