Thic Amendment to Purchase Agreement (the "Amendment") is entered into as of
1 o4e�-,� S_j 2018, by and between City of Waterloo, Iowa ("Buyer") and John and Dessie
Rottinghaus ("Seller").
WHEREAS, Buyer and Seller are parties to a certain Real Estate Purchase Agreement (the
"Agreement") pertaining to Seller's interest in parcel no. 8912-15-301-003 located in Waterloo,
Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend certain deadlines set forth in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises exchanged herein, the parties
hereby agree as follow:
1. The Agreement is amended to provide that closing shall occur on or before
May 31, 2019 at a date and time mutually agreeable to the parties.
2. Except as amended herein, the Agreement shall continue unmodified in full force and
effect. This Amendment is binding on the parties and their respective personal representatives,
successors and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Amendment to Purchase
Agreement by their duly authorized representatives as of the date first set forth above.
