RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS NOVEMBER 19, 2018 FOR A REQUEST BY GBG, LLC TO
REZONE 2.58 ACRES FROM"R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-4,R-P"PLANNED RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
NEW MEDICAL OFFICE, LOCATED TO THE NORTH OF
1505-1515 LOGAN AVENUE (GEORGE WASHINGTON
CARVER ACADEMY), AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th day of November
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by GBG, LLC to rezone 2.58
acres from"R-2" One and Two Family Residence District to "R-4,R-P" Planned Residence
District, to allow for the construction of a new medical office located to the north of 1505-1515
Logan Avenue (George Washington Carver Academy).
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2018.
