RESOLUTION NO. 2018-808
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING THE DATE OF BID OPENING AS
NOVEMBER 8, 2018, AND RESETTING DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS NOVEMBER 19, 2018, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
2018 PUBLIC WORKS - OLD CMC BUILDING, ROOF
REPLACEMENT PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2018-787.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the 2018 Public Works - Old CMC Building, Roof Replacement Project, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the 2018 Public Works - Old CMC
Building, Roof Replacement Project, be scheduled for November 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th day of November 2018,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with 2018 Public Works - Old CMC Building, Roof
Replacement Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Section 5. That Resolution No. 2018-787 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2018.
