RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS NOVEMBER 19, 2018 FOR A REQUEST BY CRYSTAL
DISTRIBUTION SERVICES FOR A REZONE OF
APPROXIMATELY 2.53 ACRES FROM "M-1" LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "M-2" HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT FOR A MEAT PROCESSING FACILITY LOCATED
SOUTH OF 1656 SYCAMORE STREET, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th day of November
2018, to approve a request by Crystal Distribution Services to rezone approximately 2.53 acres
from "M-1" Light Industrial District to "M-2" Heavy Industrial District, for a meat processing
facility located South of 1656 Sycamore Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2018.
