RESOLUTION NO. 2018-816
RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2018 TREE REMOVAL
PROJECT BID TO WILSON CUSTOM TREE OF CRESCO,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,974, AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE,
AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree of Cresco, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$206,215.82 and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the 2018 Tree Removal Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Wilson Custom Tree of Cresco, Iowa, in the amount of
$29,974, is hereby awarded, and the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance in conjunction
with 2018 Tree Removal Project, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by
Resolution No. 2018-814, after public hearing on November 5, 2018, on published notice
required by law, are hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2018.
