RESOLUTION NO. 2018-820
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY VIETH CONSTRUCTION,
CORPORATION OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, AT A TOTAL
COST OF $145,775.50, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2018
LEVEE TREE CLEARING CEDAR RIVER, CONTRACT NO.
938, AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO (2) YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Vieth Construction Corporation of Cedar Falls, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2018 Levee Tree Clearing Cedar River, Contract No. 938, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Vieth Construction Corporation has completed the aforementioned project
in accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$145,775.50.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Vieth Construction Corporation, at a total cost of $145,775.50, in
conjunction with FY 2018 Levee Tree Clearing Cedar River, Contract No. 938, are hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2018.
