RESOLUTION NO. 2018-825
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
PERFORMED BY BENTON'S SAND AND GRAVEL, INC.
OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$532,608.19, IN CONJUNCTION WITH FY 2015 GERALDINE
ROAD - PHASE 3, CONTRACT NO. 871.
WHEREAS, Benton's Sand and Gravel, Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2015 Geraldine Road - Phase 3, Contract No. 871, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Benton's Sand and Gravel, Inc. has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$532,608.19.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Benton's Sand and Gravel, Inc., at a total cost of $532,608.19, in
conjunction with FY 2015 Geraldine Road - Phase 3, Contract No. 871, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2018.
