The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session at City Hall Council
Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, February 1, 2010. Mayor Ernest G.
Clark in the Chair. Roll Call: Cole, Getty, Jones, Greenwood, Schmitt, Welper, Hart.
Moment of Silence.
Pledge of Allegiance: Harold Getty, Ward 3 Council Member.

that the Agenda, as amended moving item 11 to 2a and deleting item 3, for the
Regular Session on Monday, February 1, 2010, at 5:30 p.m., be accepted and
approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.

that the Minutes, as proposed, for the Regular Session on Monday, January 25,

that proof of publication of notice of public hearing on request of Contemporary
Urban Development to Rezone from "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District to
"C -P" Planned Commercial District property generally located north of the
northeast corner of Idaho Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to allow for
the development of a potential convenience store, as published in the Waterloo
Courier on January 28, 2010, be received and placed on file. Ayes: Seven.

and oral objections and there were none.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
130535 - Mayor Clark reminded the public to inform the City of any streetlights that need
to be repaired. Citizens are encouraged to go the City's website or call the
street department.
Mayor Clark announced there would be a work session on February 15th at 4 p.m.
with Mediacom.
