RESOLUTION NO. 2018-853
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
PERFORMED BY BOOMERANG CORP., FORMERLY
RICKLEFS EXCAVATING LTD., OF ANAMOSA, IOWA, AT A
TOTAL COST OF $1,201,613.83, FOR THE FY 2016
NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL PARK SANITARY SEWER AND
WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS, CONTRACT NO. 900, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Boomerang Corp., formerly Ricklefs Excavating Ltd., of Anamosa, Iowa,
performed work in conjunction with the FY 2016 Northeast Industrial Park Sanitary Sewer and
Water Main Extensions, Contract No. 900, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Boomerang Corp., formerly Ricklefs Excavating Ltd. has completed the
aforementioned project in accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of
$1,201,613.83.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Boomerang Corp., formerly Ricklefs Excavating Ltd., at a total cost of
$1,201,613.83, in conjunction with the FY 2016 Northeast Industrial Park Sanitary Sewer and
Water Main Extensions, Contract No. 900, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of November 2018.
