The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session at City Hall Council
Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 8:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 25, 2010. Mayor Ernest G.
Clark in the Chair. Roll Call: Cole, Jones, Greenwood, Schmitt, Welper, Hart. Absent:
Getty.
130054 - Hart/Scmitt
that copies of Call for the Special Session on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at
8:00 a.m., be received and placed on file. Ayes: Six. Absent: Getty. Motion
carried.
130055 - Hart/Scmitt
that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Special Session on Thursday, February 25,
2010, at 8:00 a.m., be accepted and approved. Ayes: Six. Absent: Getty.
Motion carried.
DOCUMENTS
130056 - Hart/Schmitt
that resolution approving Addendum to original letter of conditions from May
2003 for the former sale of city -owned land at the southwesterly corner of West
llth Street and Jefferson Street, be adopted.
Prior to a vote on the above motion, the following comments were heard.
Noel Anderson, Community Planning & Development Director stated that in 6 months
the City could take the property back if they desired. Rick Brown reported that
the problem has been the revision clause and he has a buyer set to close on
Monday.
Following comments a vote was taken on the above motion with the following
result. Ayes: Six. Absent: Getty. Motion carried.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 2009-1043.
Editor's Note: The above mentioned resolution was issued Resolution No. 2009-
1043 in error. The correct Resolution No. is 2010-139.
