RESOLUTION NO. 2018-893
RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS JANUARY 7, 2019 FOR A REQUEST BY THE CITY OF
WATERLOO TO VACATE APPROXIMATELY 7,500 SQUARE
FEET OF BLUFF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED
BETWEEN W. 13TH STREET AND W. 14TH STREET, AND
AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of January
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by the City of Waterloo to
vacate approximately 7,500 square feet of Bluff Street right-of-way located between W.
13th Street and W. 14th Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December 2018.
