RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE
SUNNYSIDE SOUTH ADDITION SITE FROM SUNNYSIDE
SOUTH ADDITION, LLC FOR $1.00, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Quit Claim Deed dated December 17, 2018, from Sunnyside South Addition, LLC
conveying to the City of Waterloo, Iowa real property generally located at the Sunnyside South
Addition site, legally described as follows:
LOTS 1-24 AND TRACT "A", ALL IN SUNNYSIDE SOUTH ADDITION, CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA, FORMERLY KNOWN AS
PARCEL "G" ACCORDING TO PLAT OF SURVEY FILED APRIL 3, 2013 AS DOC
NO. 2013-20461, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH ONE-HALF OF SECTION 5 AND THE
NORTH ONE-HALF OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 88 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF
THE 5TH P.M., BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
in the amount of $1.00, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December 2018.

For the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, Sunnyside South Addition, LLC,
does hereby quit claim to City of Waterloo, Iowa all of its right, title, interest, estate, claim, and demand in the
following described real estate in Black Hawk County, Iowa:
Lots 1-24 and Tract "A", all in Sunnyside South Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, formerly known as Parcel "G" according to Plat of Survey filed April 3, 2013 as Doc No. 2013-20461,
located in the South one-half of Section 5 and the North one-half of Section 8, Township 88 North, Range
13 West of the 5`" P.M., Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Consideration less than $500. Exempt from real estate transfer tax, declaration of value, and groundwater
hazard statement.
Conveyance made in conformity with a Project Development Agreement between grantor and grantee
dated September 11, 2017 and for remedial purposes in connection with the lawsuit affecting the
premises as referenced in said agreement.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the singular or plural
number, and as masculine or feminine gender, according to the context.
