RESOLUTION NO. 2019-19
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY ASPRO, INC. OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,739,567.82, FOR THE FY 2017
STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO.
921, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in conjunction with the FY
2017 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 921, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Aspro Inc. has completed the aforementioned project in accordance with the
project plans and specifications at a total cost of $7,739,567.82.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Aspro Inc., at a total cost of $7,739,567.82, in conjunction with the FY
2017 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 921, are hereby approved, and the two year
maintenance bond is hereby filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7t' day of January 2019.
