AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, TO REZONE 2.58 ACRES FROM "R-
2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-4,
R -P" PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW MEDICAL OFFICE,
LOCATED TO THE NORTH OF 1505-1515 LOGAN AVENUE
(GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER ACADEMY).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 10-4-4 of Ordinance No.
5079 as amended, City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance, be amended by rezoning 2.58 acres from
"R-2" One and Two Family Residence District to "R-4, R -P" Planned Residence District to allow
for the construction of a new medical office, located to the north of 1505-1515 Logan Avenue
(George Washington Carver Academy), and legally described as follows:
THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE 1/4) OF THE
NORTHEAST QUARTER (NE 1/4) OF SECTION FOURTEEN (14),
TOWNSHIP EIGHTY-NINE NORTH (T89N), RANGE THIRTEEN WEST
(R13W) OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA, DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT ONE HUNDRED
