RESOLUTION NO. 2019-56
RESOLUTION APPROVING ANTI -HEROIN COPS GRANT
MONEY AS A SUB -RECIPIENT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S
OFFICE OF DRUG CONTROL POLICY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$6,111, WITH NO MATCHING FUNDS REQUIRED, TO
PROVIDE OVERTIME FUNDS TO ASSIST IN MID AND HIGH
LEVEL HEROIN INVESTIGATIONS, AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR AND CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Anti -Heroin COPS grant money as a sub -recipient from the Governor's Office of Drug
Control Policy, in the amount of $6,111, with no matching funds required, to provide overtime
funds to assist in mid and high level heroin investigations, is hereby approved and the Mayor and
Chief of Police are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of January 2019.
