RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS FEBRUARY 14, 2019 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 18, 2019 FOR THE FY 2019
BRIDGE REPAIRS - DUBUQUE ROAD OVER BLOWERS CREEK
AND GREENHILL ROAD OVER TROLLEY CAR TRAIL,
CONTRACT NO. 959, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. for the FY
2019 Bridge Repairs - Dubuque Road over Blowers Creek and Greenhill Road over Trolley Car
Trail, Contract No. 959, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, for the FY 2019 Bridge Repairs - Dubuque Road over
Blowers Creek and Greenhill Road over Trolley Car Trail, Contract No. 959, be scheduled for
February 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of February 2019, to
hold a public hearing, for the FY 2019 Bridge Repairs - Dubuque Road over Blowers Creek and
Greenhill Road over Trolley Car Trail, Contract No. 959.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
