RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 4, 2019 FOR A REQUEST BY WADE FLEMING
TO REZONE 4.79 ACRES FROM "R-3" MULTIPLE
RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND "C-2" COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT TO "C-2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT LOCATED
NORTH OF 1685 INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of February
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Wade Flemming to rezone
approximately 4.79 acres from "R-3" Multiple Residence District to "C-2" Commercial District
located north of 1685 Independence Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of January 2019.
