ORDINANCE NO. 5480
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, APPROVING REZONING 4.79 ACRES
FROM "R-3" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND "C-2"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "C-2" COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF COMMERCIAL
BUILDING/BUILDINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 10-4-4 of Ordinance No.
5079 as amended, City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance, be amended to rezone approximately 4.79
acres from "R-3" Multiple Residence District and "C-2" Commercial District to "C-2"
Commercial District, for construction of commercial building/buildings, and described as
follows:
ALL THAT PARTS 605 FT SE SEC 19 T 89 R 12 LYING W OF WLY ROW
LINE WCF &N RR (NOW KNOWN AS THE WLOO RR) ROW
EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE W 773.5 FT AND EXC S 325 FT E 100 FT W
873.5 FT AND EXC THAT PART CONVEYED TO THE WCF & N RAILWAY
BY LD B 107 P 163 AND EXC CITY OF WATERLOO B 499 P 101 & EXC
ALL LEGAL HIGHWAYS.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
