RESOLUTION NO. 2019-116
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF ABATE OF IOWA,
DISTRICT 16, TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL MOTORCYCLE
AWARENESS RIDE ON MAY 18, 2019, STARTING AT 10:00
A.M. IN CEDAR FALLS, TRAVELING THROUGH WATERLOO
TO EVANSDALE, THEN RETURNING BACK TO WATERLOO
AND ENDING THE RIDE AT SILVER EAGLE HARLEY
DAVIDSON.
WHEREAS, ABATE of Iowa, District 16 has requested that they be allowed to hold a
Motorcycle Awareness Ride on May 18, 2019, together with the approval of the Captain of
Police Services, and
WHEREAS, said event starting at 10:00 a.m. and traveling throughout Black Hawk
County, and concluding at Silver Eagle Harley-Davidson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of ABATE of Iowa, District 16 to hold a Motorcycle
Awareness Ride on May 18, 2019, with said event beginning at 10:00 a.m. and traveling
throughout Black Hawk County, and concluding at Silver Eagle Harley-Davidson, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May 2019.
