RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM MAIN STREET WATERLOO
FROM 5:30 P.M TO 10:00 P.M. FOR THE FRIDAY'LOO
EVENT IN LINCOLN PARK ON AUGUST 9, 2019.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
August 9, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Friday'Loo event in
Lincoln Park, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo, for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 9, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Friday'Loo
event in Lincoln Park, together with the recommendation of the Director of Safety Services, be
and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of March 2019.
